The Zoning & Code Enforcement Department is responsible for taking Planning/Zoning applications and processing them for appropriate review and action. The department issues zoning permits, makes inspections, and issues certificates of occupancy. The Code Enforcement Officer enforces zoning ordinances and other miscellaneous ordinances for the Borough of Sea Girt.
Chris Willms, The Borough’s Fire Inspector, will be our Interim Zoning and Code Enforcement Official during Mr. Quigley’s absence. Chris will be available on Wednesday’s 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Thursday’s 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and Friday’s 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Chris can also be reached on ext. 118.

This Ordinance, adopted by the Council on June 8, 2016 revises sections of Chapter XVII, Zoning, of the Borough of Sea Girt Municipal Code, to establish an impervious coverage maximum on residential lots in the Borough of Sea Girt, among other changes.
