Taxation

The Borough of Sea Girt's tax bills are sent to property owners each year during the month of June. Tax payments are due on a quarterly basis on the first day of February, May, August, and November.

A 10-calendar day grace period and interest accrual on late payments applies for each tax quarter.

• Tax payments can be made in person or mailed to the Tax Collector's office located at Borough Hall.
• Please note that all payments received after 3:00 pm will be posted the next business day.
• All questions pertaining to tax bills should be directed to the Tax Collector's Department at (732) 449-9433 ext.117.
• The Tax Collector's Office is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm.

• Any questions regarding property assessments must be addressed with the Tax Assessor, Scott Kineavy at (732) 449-9433 ext. 119.
